Join the Worcester County Library Foundation as we head to Washington, DC for the Smithsonian’s 50th Anniversary First Moon Landing Celebration! We will view artifacts from the Apollo 11 mission including Neil Armstrong’s Spacesuit which will be on display for the first time in 13 years. Many events and activities will be taking place throughout the day. Then we will dine at the famous Carmine’s Italian Restaurant in DC! We will dine in the Tuscany Room reserved just for us. The menu includes Stuffed mushrooms, Carmine’s signature salad, Cheese Manicotti, Spaghetti and Meatballs, Chicken Parmigiana, Cheesecake, soda and tea. We will leave from Ocean Pines Library at 7:30 am and from behind the Post Office in Snow Hill at 8:00 am. We should return between 8 and 8:30 pm. We will make a short restroom/snack stop on the way to Washington DC.
