The Worcester County Commission on Aging, Inc. (WorCOA) is a nonprofit agency established in 1978 to serve the Senior Citizens of Worcester County on behalf of the Worcester County government. This is accomplished through four multi-service Senior Centers, an Adult Medical Day Care, Meals On Wheels and multiple Direct Services for the homebound. Our dedicated staff ensures the professional delivery of quality, meaningful services.
FRESH MEALS
Monday through Thursday fresh nutritious meals are served in our centers during a time of meaningful social interaction. Fresh daily meals are available Monday through Thursday via our Meals on Wheels program to ensure the homebound are getting the nutrition so critical to their optimal health.
MEDICAL SERVICES
Participants in our Adult Medical Day Services receive excellent professional medical and social care during their time at our center. Their physical and emotional well-being remains our top priority, and a dedicated staff makes sure they are lovingly cared for.
GOOD COMPANY
Each center provides activities and interaction relevant to the individual needs of the participants. Outings, exercises, games, education, shopping trips and special events provide a platform for enjoying experiences with friends and acquaintances.
STAYING INDEPENDENT
Our Direct Services programs facilitate the opportunity for the frail, health-impaired and elderly to continue living at home. Our commitment to help participants live independently is evidenced though services of assistance such as providing in-home chores and personal care, caregiver support and financial counseling.
